miss xie n me at the chinatown gate! alot of chi here. actualli alot of blacks too. according to joey public transport sys here is really gd so all the poor pple flocks here. 
we wanted to go imperial inn (strongly recommended by miss chua's fren) for dim sum but it was closed!
so in e end we went to tis shop beside it n e food turned out to b really good! e portions were sooo huge but we all licked our bowls n plates clean.

tis is nora who was our host for tis trip. she's really v v v nice! brought us arnd n we stayed in her apartment for the nite. she's currently working there. all her frens r really nice too bringing us arnd n all.
dinner was at ruby's tuesday! e ribs were GREAT! n i loved e baked potato!! with e bacon bits it's totally lk heavenly!! hahas.
tis is e new orleans catch. pretty gd too. we haven had good food in a loooooooooooong time. our host actually intended to bring us to eat chi food. but we requested for others. we eat soooo much chi food everyday at home.

there's another LOVE in UPenn. actualli i duno wat it symbolizes at all. but seems lk everyone's taking pic with it so yah. 
at e subway station. e subway here looks pretty old. u noe how we use ez-link card to tap back home in spore. over here they use tis token which looks lk a 20cent coin n you can tk to any station. a flat rate of USD1.30 can tk u to anywhere u wan. according to joey (nora's fren) pple juz stock up on e tokens coz not all stations sell them n w/o it u cant tk e subway.

us with e liberty bell. hahas. in e vistors centre. us being e shopaholics couldnt tk time off to visit e liberty bell. we were right outside already but we really couldnt spare time to step in. it's juz not on top of our piority list.
outside independence hall. likewise we juz looked from e outside.
tis kind of concludes our philly trip :) it was good although it started off quite badly with e rain n no dim sum but everyting else totally makes up for it. philly is lk a mix of e new n old. can tell from their architecture which really shows their rich history. shopping was really fruitful. saw alot of brands that i shop online for lk wetseal, urban outfitters, old navy, american apparels blahblah.
toured UPenn. went into Wharton. now i understand y pple wana study overseas. if NTU was lidat i'd look forward to sch every single day man. it's totally lk a castle lor. ok enuff abt tat man. i still love NTU though. but not e same kind of love UPenn pple haf for their sch lar.
stayed over at nora's hse which reminds me of my grandma's oldoldold hse. 1 bedrm 1 living 1 kitchen 1 toilet. really tiny but i guess for 2 pple it's sufficient. her rmmate was really nice too! they're both fr NUS doin a 1 yr work stint here in philly.

all in all tis was a really gd trip but spent quite abit so better save up e nxt wks! cannot anyhow spend liaoo! if not i have to sell my backside to survive in NY.
ohh one last sad ting. i lost e cap i bought here in US n e one that's in my pics. n e funniest ting is, i dropped it in e store i bought it from. but a different outlet. i speculate that they'll juz put on a new pricetag n sell it again. BOOO!!!!
