there might be more unglamish photo of tht idiotic ah chen! but im running out of time now, ciao~~~ hohoho! but all in all, it was a great trip with great company! i miss e wildwood days with miss chen, chua, tan & mr wong... despite all those umglam-ness, i still wanna thank this silly gal for being herself & the map reader cum tour guide throughout this trip, greatly appreciate it from e bottom of my heart! without her, im pretty sure i'll get lost abt 50% of e time! haaaa... too bad geog didnt help me improve my map readings skills~ thanks my dear ah chen! must keep in touch k, 3 cheers :)

tis is of us with e liberty caps. they r pretty popular. esp pple visiting e liberty would get tis. i tink it's supposed to work as a visor but i cant c how it can block out much sun. it's takenduring our second visit to empire state building.

us outside red oak buffet restaurant. e best breakfast we had in our whole stay in wildwood (it's better den uncle bill's simply coz there's more variety n it's cheaper) tis was our last breakfast tog before we went on our own separate tours.

love e colour of my hair in tis :) i tink my hair colour really changed alot from e start of e trip. all of us with big smiles waiting for subway in NY.

New York Pass Dayssss :)

Sorry for e long hiatus, we're back blogging again! hehee... at the taipei airport now waiting for e transit, we tahan-ed 16hrs of flight WITHOUT inflight entertainment, pls clap for us! haaaa... here's a quick update on our 3-day new york pass days~!

New York Pass Day 1

Empire State Building

this is the highest building in new york i think its 100+ storeys high but we only had a chance up to the 86th storey... was high enough to have a good view of new york city, in particular manhattan. pretty cool but it was just a view of buildings, buildings & more buildings... u will noe wat i mean when u see the pics. it wasnt really breezy though it was high at 86 storeys... pictures below :)

Madison Square Garden - The world's largest arena

this is where the famous ice hockey, basketball teams in NYC play... lousy us couldnt remember the names of those teams @ the moment, hahaa... sorry, no bg info on this place! thats e problem with blogging after sooooooo long! heh.

this tour is like how boring! haaaa... i sorta slept 1/2 way during the tour cos i was so tired from all e pia-ing plus it was raining, not many nice things to see la, heres 2 pics of the walls of the interior.

as u can see, we enjoyed ourselves while posing & imitating the poses of the wax figures... haha... the day ended with drinks @ planet hollywood cos we had a 10bucks voucher each everyday for 3 days of our NY pass.

New York Pass Day 2

Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island

we had the luxury of taking the boat ride to liberty island to explore further unlike some who only manage to catch a glimpse of miss liberty from a distance... heh. the boat ride though squeezy was pretty worth the while, quite an interesting island to visit...

after lotsa boat rides, we went to meet miss chua & gang for a nice dinner @ Red Lobster which was quite a disappointment despite the hype abt the free flow biscuits initially! haaaaa... we had some crabs, shrimps, fish, salad, fries etc... dun wish to elaborate much la, still damn pissed off with my lost post! bahhhh...

we decided to visit the building again to see how spectacular the night view was. it was so crowded tht we decided to climb the stairs from the 80th storey to the 86th... since we climbed so much, we probably could appreciate the view more! haaaaa....

New York Pass Day 3

New York Aquarium

we decided to visit the aquarium after losing touch for abt 10 yrs or so! it was really an excursion place with tons of kids! black ones in particular... its really crowded and noisy!!!


the brooklyn boardwalk, looks similar to the moreys one rite? hahaa... they have an amusement park nearby too! its sooooo back to moreys days!

Brooklyn Museum


its a pretty nice museum

theres no photography allowed in the museum so no photos, everything is pretty & artistic but we just cant appreciate those arty farty stuff la, so we sorta just went for the sake of going. everywhere is so quiet in there in contrast to ah chen's noisy heels! haaaaaa....

thats the back door of MoMA with a v nice relaxation place for tired pple like us. as usual we couldnt appreciate much of the art, so we just glanced through everything... wat really caught our eye is this blank piece of thing explaining wats the artistic value behind tht?!?! like huh? something blank is worth so much? hahaaa... diaozzz...

so we ended up at the relaxation place taking spastic photos.... heh.

yup thats the entrance of MoMa where we met miss chua & gang for a very nice jap dinner which sells nice food but lousy drinks!

basically, thats e end of our 3 days NY Pass days... we pia-ed alot the 1st day and ended up pretty slack the 2nd & 3rd day! haaaa... overall, was a fun filled 3 days in which i improved my zi pai (self taking photography) skills by 3 notches! hahaaa... its nice to see the artistic side of NYC in contrast to the usual dirty & even filthy streets. 3 cheers~~!
