Central Park!

manhanttan is so unlike spore where we have trees n plants among bulildings. over here e buildings r so close to each other n they have tis huge park in e middle of e whole city where all e greens r. it's freaking huge. we walked arnd for lk 3hrs n got lost n still didnt cover lk half of it. feel stupid that we got lost there in e end we had a heart attach meeting ah chua n her friends for e show below.





Les Miz

tis was fantastic! if we our budget had allowed i would have wanted to catch another musical. truly enjoyed myself watching tis. n guess who we meet in tis small lil city..... perry n gang. was so qiao! they were watching e same show at e same time! haha. wat a tiny world. anw miss chua n gang had to rush back to philly n in e end we stuck with perry n gang for e rest of e day. shopping n eating. had great chinese food! no pics though. but here in US, food is really ex. chi food is ex by spore stds but it's e most affordable food arnd here.

Woodbury

no pics of woodbury simply coz it's a pure shopping trip. nothin much to c. n seriously, nothin much to buy. boo! feel lk we wasted our time there. one whole day!! gotta tk a bus which cost USD$34 each n an hrs bus ride n yet we didnt have gd buys :( but i guess we wont die in peace if we didnt go. so yup. i mean pple who went warned us abt it already but we had to see it for ourselves. n e stupid fcuk store didnt remove e magnetic tingy they put on their items to prevent pple fr stealing stuff from my bag. how e hell m i suppose to get rid of it.

Boston

we went on another gotobus tour (e same one as e niagara one) but tis time to Boston! first stop was mystic aquarium but we juz visted NY aquarium so we gave it a miss. in e end we explored somewhere i feel was even more worthwhile. it's called mistick village. it's tis really oldie town that sells v exotic stuff. cool~

Rhode Island
nxt we went to breakers mansion on Rhode Island (e smallest n richest state in US). it was REALLY grand in there. too bad cant tk pics inside. but trust me, tis place isnt meant for pple to live in. i mean it's lk even more grand than a palace lar. gold plated tis n that n sum rare marble fr duno where. there were lk 20over fireplace. it's juz ridiculous. n it's juz a summer house. can u imagine. no wonder Rhode Island is e richest state in US. heard e taxes here is ridulously high too.

Boston (cont)

went for our lobster meal! i mean how can we leave Boston w/o tasting their famous lobster! n boy was it gd. we ordered far too much for e both of us to finish. n we had to take away n finish up in e hotel which was really comfy :) juz look at miss xie's spastic expression!

we oso went to harvard n MIT. nothin too impressive though. i find UPenn nicer. e 2nd pic is of us with John Harvard e founder. but according to e guide e statue is a fake. he doesnt look lk that. they juz grabbed e most handsome student at e time to make e sculpture. n there's us looking spastic with e lobster caps.

miss xie's new look!

e boston trip didnt turn out to b too enjoyable reason being e STUPID driver. he was lost e entire trip. he's new but thats not an excuse. he is also always late!! n refuse to stop us near e attractions for fear of being fined. n he actually smashed his rear view mirror while goin thru a pay toll. how pathetic. n we onli reached back NY at lk midnite when we were supposed to reach back by lk 630pm. n it totally implicated us coz we got a bad room for e rest of our stay in NY which has no wireless!!! n was freaking tiny! anw e above r e diff looks i created for miss xie while waiting for e stupid driver to pick us up. which one do you like?

Wall St/ Ground Zero/ Brooklyn Bridge/Yankees

we covered quite alot today. first we went ground zero. e site wheree twin towers use to stand. nxt was wall street. we took lk damn long to tk e few pics with e bull simply coz it was always hog by lk loads of tourists! went past e NY stock exchange n all. it's all really cool. den we hiked to brooklyn bridge. we didnt go on e bridge coz we figured it'll tk too much time plus pics wont look much better anw. den we rushed down to catch a yankees baseball match. but guess wat. there was an explosion in e subway (not terrorist related, dun worry!) so in e end we had to switch n switch trains b4 we finally reach e stadium n they had no more cheap tix. so in e end we juz hung arnd e stadium. bleah. really wanted to experience a match though i prob wont understand wat's happening.

rest of NY

having covered wat we wanted to c n explore in NY we went on to our ultimate aim - SHOPPING! we managed to spend every single cent we had (almost lar) hahas. left with less than 10USD now. shopping was pretty fruitful i'll say. but it's nv enuff. hiaks! we planned a mini cele on e last nite of our stay. but in e end miss xie had a heart attack coz i concussed in e rm with her locked out. it was really hilarious. she was on e verge of getting pple to knock down e door. n we bought lotsa KK. hope it'll still b edible by e time we reach spore. n look at e amt of baggage we have!!! luckily we took airport shuttle. i cant survive lugging those arnd to e airport man.

anw in a rush to board our plane back to spore. we're now in transit in Taipei. shall update againn~!! im really looking forward to goin home nowwwww!
